Frequently Asked Questions

Enrollment & Eligibility

When can I enroll in benefits?

You can enroll when you first become eligible for RV Tech benefits and during the annual Open Enrollment period. Outside of these enrollment windows, you generally can only make changes if you experience a Qualifying Life Event. New hires should complete their benefit elections within 14 days of their hire date.

When does my coverage begin?

For full-time new hires, benefits coverage begins on your date of hire. Be sure to complete your benefit elections within your new-hire enrollment window.

Where do I enroll?

Benefit elections are made through Workday. Log in to review your options, add eligible dependents and beneficiaries, and make your elections. Remember to click Submit when you're finished. Your elections are not finalized until you submit them and receive a confirmation message.

What information should I have ready before enrolling?

If you're covering dependents or adding beneficiaries, be prepared to provide their personal information, including dates of birth and Social Security numbers.

Making Changes

Can I change my benefits during the year?

Generally, your benefit elections remain in place until the next Open Enrollment period. However, you may be able to make certain changes if you experience a Qualifying Life Event (QLE).

What is considered a QLE?

QLEs may include:
  • Change in legal marital or domestic partner status
  • Birth or adoption, or another change in dependent eligibility
  • Loss or change of insurance coverage due to your spouse's employment or a dependent turning age 26
  • Moving outside of your plan's service area
  • Enrollment in Medicare or Medicaid
Thechanges you make must be consistent with your QLE.

How do I make a change after a QLE?

Log in to Workday to report your life event and request changes to your benefits. Be prepared to provide information about the event and any required supporting documentation. QLEs have specific enrollment deadlines, so report your event and complete any applicable benefit changes as soon as possible.

What information should I have ready before enrolling?

If you don't enroll during your applicable enrollment period, you generally won't be able to make benefit elections until the next Open Enrollment period unless you experience a QLE.
